I love light Just a short and summarized post about the Guerrilla Lighting workshop for 3 days Lights test on Day 2 My group's site which is the old Merlion Park has got these plain white lights... so we changed it by putting a layer of 3M radiant film and paper silhouttes to create these beautiful 'sparkly' effect. ![]() Day 3 Light up! ![]() ![]() ![]() Not sure how does it looks like across the river. The viewers were all there and only those in charge of setting the sites can see how it looks like up close. ![]() Group 5 rocks! ll be getting the pictures from the photographers next saturday during the post workshop party :D Design journal not done. child of the 80s ![]() First assignment Everyone was given a bag of goodies today and in each paper bag there'a a paper with a number on it. Numbers range from 3-86 I got 80. Assignment brief given. You are to look for 4 people that falls into the age group that you have been allocated. Each is given 15 mins to talk bout their story ( life, dreams, lifestyle etc). Record it as a video. Blah Blah Blah Submission 28/10/2010
My age range will be 77-83 (+ - 3) It wont be easy finding interviewees at this age and to talk for 15 minutes. Will be going to either Chinatown or old folks home to do this assignment. Anyway, my schedule is super packed. Guerilla lighting Workshop from 9am-9pm 21-23 Oct. Hope its gonna be super fun and I'll have tonnes of pretty pictures of the lightings when it ends. Korea trip journal to be submitted on Monday instead of Friday thanks to the workshop. Dont expect me to do my work when i return from school, I've got no more energy for that. *Blogging burns less energy * Off to bed soon. Thursday, October 14, 2010 @ 10:31 PM

I live to let you shine School's starting on Monday. I've been rotting at home for days. Work undone, cause slacking seems just so right. I want a space of my own, I dont mind living alone. Hope I can get this matter solve soon. Burnt myself on the elbow today while I was filling my water bottle. Bad bad electrical kettle thats kept so near the water jugs. I cant wait for December. Why cant you come faster? Sunday, October 10, 2010 @ 10:05 PM
Right song at the right time. Oh dear , you look so lost, Eyes are red, tears are shed. You dont know me, you dont wear my chains. I think I want a new life, I think i want to start over, I'm tired of the weather, I think I'm just too tired. I think I need a new town, to leave this all behind. I hear it's nice in the summer, some snow would be nice.... where no one knows my name. Thursday, October 7, 2010 @ 10:33 PM

I love Seoul I ♥ Seoul !
Love the skies, 'big piece of sky' just before your eyes. Love the balanced fact of nature & man-made stuff. I really dont mid studying or living there I guess. Hehe Anyway, gonna write down just a few interesting stuff about the trip. Face Shop is damn cheap there. Face mask sold in Singapore & Brunei is $4 for a piece. It's 1,500-2000 won each in Korea. 1,500 won in a tax free cosmetic store, 2,000 won in normal stores. That's about 2 bucks each! We grabbed like crazy, packs and packs. I bought a total of 30 pieces of mask. Wooohooo. Now, I'll think twice before going in any Face Shop stores here. Our schedule got changed a little. We were supposed to go to Lotte World on the 3rd day, from 2pm till night. But, the tour guide suggested us to go at the 2nd day, since day 3 is a Saturday, its gonna be super packed. Day 2, we went to Lotte World at 6pm , back at 9pm! The park is still super pack, we played total of 3 rides, queued each for about an hour.... sigh But It was really fun, Comet Express made me scream a lot. And we queued for a wrong ride in the end, thinking it was a roller coaster and it turns out to be not! What else ...... Bags are super cheap! Those stalls in MyeongDong . I should have bought more... Ice creams are Mmmmmmmm. We kinda had ice cream every night, walking to the convenient store after dinner. Awww, I miss Korea :( |
