blood and ginger Been sleeping till late, watching tv, going to Seria , grocery shopping and messing up the kitchen recently. 16 Dec, Thursday  Went for a blood test at Seria Plaza together with my mum and sisters. It's free in conjunction of World Diabetes Day...wait, isnt that on November? Maybe its held in December in Brunei. I dont know. Instead of having giant needles poking into the vein of my arm, they have Self Blood Glucose monitor (SBGM), a little device that pricks your finger and the glucose level will show on the little screen. Normal glucose level ( 2 hours after meal) = 4-6 Mine was 3.8, a little low but the nurse said its alright. Probably will just have to eat my meals on time and not starve myself.............................................................................. Gingerbread men!  Found the best golden syrup at Supasave. ( Google for the brand logo, its interesting) I've been using Silver Spoon's golden syrup until one day I didnt put back the cap tightly and it got infested by um...roaches. Anyways, thanks to the roaches and thanks to the store I got this yummy syrup, taste so much better compared to SS's.  Thick & Gooey It tasted very much like the Chinese Mai Ya Tang. This will make a nice fondant ( the previous fondant made with SS's golden syrup taste weird) and the fact that I've finally know where I can get glycerin. Who would have thought that glycerin is used for medicinal purposes and also food.  Here are the little monsters. My lil sis helped with decorating. And I'm sick after baking these. Fever/Headache, flu, nose block, runny nose. Can't even breathe, smell or taste a thing. Gotta go to Seria again tomorrow morning, offering prayers to my late grandpa. Josiah Leming @ TAB Archive January 2009 for a post about him. Can't believe it when I receive Josiah Leming's mail update, saying he's coming to Singapore from 30 November to 4 December . He performed at TAB , 2 sets everynight, 9pm and 11pm. I went for the last 2 days since my main submission ends on Thursday. Lots of blurry pictures in my camera. These are the clearer ones, and yes more on facebook. Friday, 3 Dec          Saturday, 4 Dec   Woots, Thanks Amanda for accompanying me.Now she's a fan of JL too :)  Met awesome people, 'another' Josiah and Cheryl(Josiah's mum taking a picture of us)  Met Xiaxue.There's an event before the show and we asked for a picture at the entrace when she's going off.  :)))He's such a awesome guy. He wrote my name and signed all the albums.. a poster I've printed and the picture above. Yes, took a lot of pictures with him. We chatted, knock our knuckles twice ! And he 'borrowed' my marker pen for 2 days. Trying to get the videos uploaded in Youtube. Too bad I only have a few videos for the Friday's show. He was not feeling very well the next day. Poor guy singing for 2 hours everynight for 5 days. But still, we adore him. Here's What You've Taken Maybe I should study for my GEMs exam once I'm done with videos and photos.
